GEOSTUD is looking for an Unskilled Drilling Worker with a valid Category B driving license to join its team. This is a practical field-based position involving drilling projects, equipment handling, sample transportation and travel to different locations across Romania.
Previous experience in drilling is not required. However, candidates with some knowledge of geotechnical drilling equipment or related technical work may have an advantage.
What You Will Do
As a drilling worker, you will support the drilling team under the supervision of experienced specialists.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with drilling activities at different project locations.
- Handling and transporting drilling equipment and materials.
- Loading and unloading soil and geological samples.
- Making sure samples are properly protected and transported.
- Transporting samples and equipment safely between locations.
- Keeping transport documents and the vehicle logbook updated.
- Following road traffic rules and transportation regulations.
- Supporting the drilling team during daily field activities.
- Working together with supervisors and drilling specialists to complete projects safely and on time.
- Following all workplace health and safety requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
