About the Collections Officer Role
As a Collections Officer, you’ll manage customer accounts, track payments, and ensure timely collections while maintaining strong client relationships. This role also includes communication tasks, making it ideal for candidates with strong German language skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and payment timelines
- Track outstanding balances and follow up on payments
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Handle customer queries via calls, email, and chat
- Support collections and accounts receivable (AR) activities
- Use financial tools and Excel for reporting and tracking
- Escalate issues when necessary
Job Location & Work Model
- Locations: Bucharest, Brasov, Iasi, Cluj (or fully remote in Romania)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
- Work Type: Hybrid / Remote
Requirements
To apply, you should have:
- Strong German and English communication skills
- Experience in collections, finance, or accounting
- Good Excel knowledge (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Finance or Accounting degree (preferred)
