Job description
- Prospects the transportation market in order to identify carriers with optimal prices
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers and carriers
- Organizes and coordinates the brokerage activity in the transport of goods and resolves all problems arising during the execution of a transport contract.
- Keep in touch with the customer throughout the entire transport process, informing them about its progress (loading, truck status, goods delivery).
- Prepares and updates the database with freight transport providers (carriers)
- Identify optimal transportation solutions and negotiate transportation terms
- Prepares transport offers, completes activity-specific reports correctly and on time
- Records the trips made in the system.
- Maintains relationships with clients and subcontractors, constantly identifies new collaboration opportunities.
- Takes requests for quotes and orders from customers in a timely manner.
