Job Description: Maintenance Technician
Our company is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for solving technical problems and enjoy hands-on, field work, this position could be right for you.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out periodic inspections and preventive and corrective maintenance work for telecommunications equipment (base stations, radio equipment, transmission networks, passive infrastructure) or other equipment .
- Diagnosing and fixing technical faults at the equipment/device level.
- Ensuring optimal network operation through rapid interventions in the event of incidents and minimizing downtime.
- Performing maintenance and repair work in accordance with safety standards and procedures specific to the telecom industry (including working at height and compliance with electrical regulations).
- Basic configuration and verification of equipment, according to technical specifications.
- Monitoring operating parameters and proactively identifying potential problems (e.g. signal, interference, packet loss).
- Detailed documentation of interventions in internal systems (service reports, ticketing, technical database updates).
- Collaboration with suppliers or the beneficiary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance or a similar role (2-3 years preferred).
- Excellent technical problem diagnosis skills.
- Category B driving license.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Technical certification is an advantage (telecommunications/mechatronics/other).
- High availability for frequent travel to areas of activity (Romania)
