IMSAT is looking for a Construction Design Engineer for our Bucharest office, passionate about excellence and eager to contribute to large-scale projects in the field of industrial construction and metal structures.

What are the responsibilities of the position?
- Analyzes and defines the project scope to provide the best technical solutions;
- Performs and verifies static/dynamic calculations for complex works;
- Coordinates and verifies overall drawings for concrete and metal structures;
- Develops and validates execution drawings and details for metal and concrete structures;
- Prepares and verifies specifications for execution;
- Writes technical memoranda and quality and performance tracking programs over time;
- Ensures compliance with legislation, regulations and design standards;
- Contributes to knowledge transfer within the team.
What did we expect from you?
- Higher education at the Technical University of Construction, Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Construction;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in designing metal structures and industrial constructions;
- Advanced knowledge of structural calculation with finite elements FEM (Robot Structural Analysis – advantage);
- Experience in 3D structural detailing (Tekla Structures);
- Mastery of a CAD program (AutoCAD 2D, 3D, Inventor – advantage);
- Solid operating skills in MS Office, Outlook, MS Project;
- Knowledge of design standards (National Codes, Eurocode);
- English – advanced level (French is an advantage);
- Analysis, synthesis and decision-making skills;
- Organized, serious and deadline-oriented person.
