Role Purpose
The Concrete Specialist provides specialized technical support for clients (concrete plants and precast manufacturers), with the objective of identifying and implementing the most suitable technical solutions (including the correct selection of additives) to achieve optimal concrete performance, depending on the requirements of each project.________________________________________🔧
Main Responsibilities
Technical Support & Applications
• Analyzes customer requirements and recommends adapted technical solutions (concrete recipes, admixture selection, performance/cost optimization)• Develops and optimizes concrete recipes for various applications (ready-mix, precast, special applications)• Performs and supervises laboratory and industrial tests• Ensures correct implementation of solutions in production
Testing & Quality Control
• Performs and interprets standard concrete tests:o workability (slump)o mechanical strengths (compression)o density, entrained airo setting timeo other relevant tests depending on the application• Analyzes results and proposes measures to improve concrete performance
Sales Support
• Participates in technical visits and provides expertise in discussions with customers• Performs demonstrations and tests to validate solutions• Contributes to the development of new applications and technical projects
Customer Relations
• Provides ongoing technical consultancy and after-sales support• Identifies and resolves technical issues in production or on site• Monitors the performance of solutions implemented
Internal collaboration
• Collaborates with R&D and product manager to adapt solutions to the local market• Provides technical feedback for product improvement and development of new solutions
