Kingzon is launching a new production facility in Pitești and is offering an opportunity for the position of a Procurement Specialist responsible – Buyer for ensuring a continuous supply of materials for production, with a focus on metal materials (aluminum, steel, iron). The role involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, and overseeing the end-to-end procurement process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or similar)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in procurement or material planning (experience with metal materials is a strong advantage)
- Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset and results-oriented approach
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); ERP/SRM knowledge is a plus
- High level of responsibility, integrity, and teamwork
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute procurement activities based on production needs and inventory levels
- Identify, evaluate, and develop a reliable supplier base (especially for metal materials)
- Negotiate contracts (price, delivery terms, payment conditions, quality standards)
- Issue and track purchase orders through to delivery
- Manage critical situations (delays, quality issues) and ensure minimal disruption
- Monitor supplier performance and improve commercial relationships
- Optimize inventory levels and control procurement costs
- Collaborate with internal departments (production, warehouse, quality)
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures
