Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Automatica SA is expanding its team and is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience, capable of handling complex projects and delivering high-quality technical solutions. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical thinking and the ability to work independently.

Requirements:

• -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (TCM)
• -Proven experience in mechanical design
• -Advanced SolidWorks skills (mandatory)
• -Strong knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing (ISO standards)
• -Solid understanding of strength of materials and machine elements
• -Experience with welded structures and manufacturing processes is a plus
• -Advanced English (technical vocabulary required)
• -Valid driving license (Category B)
• -Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• -Design mechanical structures and complex assemblies using SolidWorks (3D and 2D)
• -Integrate technical solutions into functional systems according to project requirements
• -Prepare full technical documentation: manufacturing drawings, technical projects, specifications
• -Collaborate with production, sales, and procurement teams
• -Participate in technical meetings, site visits
• -Evaluate technical offers and supplier solutions
• -Provide technical support during manufacturing and implementation phases
