Ideal Candidate
- – University degree for electrical/automation engineering or similar
- – MS-Office
- – Experience and / or ability to read and understand electrical drawings is a must
- – Experience with E-PLAN is an advantage
- – Good written and spoken English language skills (german is an advantage)
- – Knowledge of technical English
- – Ability to work in a team, independent, accurate, cost conscious, ability to think systematically
- – Willingness to travel (business trips of up to 1-2 weeks as required)
Job Description
- – Generate project reports: bill of materials; cables, I/O lists
- – Generation of power consumption for a production line
- – Thermal calculation and for the selection of thermal accessories required for cabinets or cabinets containing electrical and electronic equipment.
- – Calculation of cable cross-sections and related protective devices
- – Knowledge of the regulations in force relevant to specific design / installation / certification activities
- – Basic knowledge of pneumatic circuits
- – Interpretation of drive and control components according to customer architecture
- – Identification of safety equipment and their integration according to the required performance indicators
- – Assignment of digital IO/safety IO lists respective IP addresses
- – Generation of SISTEMA (Safety Integrity Software Tool for the Evaluation of Machine Applications) report
- – Generation of material requirements including spare parts recommendation list
- – Generate lists for labelling of command and control devices
- – Collaborate effectively with the technician/electrician teams
- – Technical support on site if required
- – Participate in internal project meetings and client meetings
- – Use of internal procedures for documentation management
