We are looking for a Server Support Engineer Enterprise – German & English with a passion for technology, to provide remote support in a complex IT infrastructure environment. You will work with various systems and applications, directly contributing to the smooth running of customer operations.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support (phone, email, chat) for servers, blades and applications (Windows, Linux, VMware)
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems, identifying causes and proposing effective solutions
- Respond to requests related to product installation, configuration, performance, and usage
- Check the guarantee eligibility and determine the necessary actions
- Manage cases (ticketing) and keep the customer informed throughout the resolution process
- Monitor and track issues until fully resolved
- Provide support in escalating situations
- You advise customers and contribute to a positive experience according to standards.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of servers (e.g. ProLiant, PowerEdge, ThinkSystem)
- Basic knowledge in Windows Server, Linux or VMware
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Time management and customer orientation
It is an advantage:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Server+
