Variosystems is seeking a Logistics & Transport Specialist to coordinate transportation and logistics activities for electronic components and production materials. The role includes managing procurement logistics, shipment documentation, warehouse coordination, inventory support, supplier communication, and transport planning while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and international standards. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for direct procurement of electronic components and raw materials.
- Prepare and manage delivery documentation, including purchase orders, CMRs, delivery notes, and customs documents.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor local transportation for materials, prototypes, PCB assemblies, and urgent shipments.
- Optimize transport routes and vehicle utilization to support production efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics providers and transport partners for scheduled and urgent deliveries.
- Collaborate with planning, production, warehouse, quality, and supplier teams.
- Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resolve transportation delays, damages, and logistics non-conformities.
- Track logistics KPIs, including transport costs, delivery performance, lead times, and claims.
- Maintain accurate ERP/SAP records and manage logistics claims.
- Ensure compliance with ESD handling requirements and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 13485 quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and shipping documentation.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience using SAP, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Lean or Kaizen continuous improvement practices (preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
