Infosys Romania is looking for a highly experienced Business Process Expert to optimize transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics processes within a large-scale Global Business Services transformation. The role involves redesigning end-to-end supply chain processes, managing relationships with third-party logistics providers, implementing best practices, and supporting digital transformation initiatives that improve operational performance across international logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Coordinate transportation planning, freight optimization, and distribution activities.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and storage optimization.
- Build and maintain strong governance with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Analyze logistics KPIs including OTIF (On-Time In-Full), transportation costs, inventory turnover, and order cycle times.
- Design and standardize business processes using continuous improvement methodologies.
- Support implementation and optimization of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and ERP platforms such as SAP and Oracle.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and internal policies.
- Drive automation, digitalization, and cost optimization initiatives across logistics operations.
- Collaborate with procurement, customer service, warehouse, and sales teams to achieve business objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong expertise in warehouse management and third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
- Proven experience leading business process design and optimization projects.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex operational environments.
