Cargo Handler

Our company is looking for a dedicated and responsible Goods Handler to join our warehouse team. If you are an organized and detail-oriented person, this position could be right for you.

Responsibilities:

• Unloads goods received from suppliers and arranges them in the warehouse according to internal provisions (sorts the unloaded goods by product, expiration date, batch and places them on pallets grouped by product, expiration date, batch and with the label visible)
• Check the integrity of the products received/delivered
• Packs and prepares goods for delivery, in accordance with internal procedures
• Paste AWBs and various labels, depending on the context
• Load the goods into the transport vehicles
• Proactively participate in optimizing the cargo handling process
• Handles goods by correctly using equipment, for which he/she holds specific qualifications, without endangering the safety of personnel and/or the integrity of the goods
• Performs periodic maintenance and ensures proper use of the equipment used, in accordance with technical specifications and legal safety provisions
• Signals, in real time, to the manager all observed non-conformities (e.g. damaged goods)
• Participates in periodic inventory taking
• Ensures proper storage and preservation of merchandise stock
• Take all necessary measures to reduce the risk of damage to the goods
• Checks the accuracy of data on invoices, notices and other documents specific to the activity carried out, before receiving/handing over the goods

Requirements:

• Secondary education (high school, vocational school, post-secondary education)
• Experience in handling goods
• PC operating knowledge
• Possession of a valid ISCIR certificate (forklift operator) is an advantage
• Good physical condition
• Communication and relationship skills
• Organizational skills
• Seriousness and responsibility
