Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Chief Accountant with at least 5 years of experience for the Desa Engineering team.
Requirements:
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of financial and accounting legislation, company management and taxation;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Expert accountant member of CECCAR – is an advantage;
- English language skills – advanced level;
- Higher economic studies in the financial-accounting field;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in the accounting field.
Job Description
Job responsibilities:
- Prepares and submits monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual reports requested by financial administration bodies and other reporting institutions;
- Organizes, manages, controls and is responsible for the efficient conduct of the company’s financial and accounting activities;
- Corrects errors found during month-end closings;
- Checks and records payrolls, centralizes and transmits payment obligations related to salaries, reconciles taxes from payrolls with the records in the accounting balance;
- Responsible for the company’s financial and accounting activity in accordance with the legislation in force;
- Supervises the closing of accounting accounts and semi-annual and annual balance sheets;
- Prepares profit and loss account analysis;
- Provides daily support to company departments for the purpose of running the business;
- Financial and accounting relations management: Will manage relations with state institutions, banks, suppliers and clients regarding financial and accounting aspects. Will ensure efficient communication and compliance with deadlines and financial requirements imposed by them.
