a General Manager for one of our prestigious clients in the hotel industry. You will fully coordinate operations, with the mission of generating profitability and maintaining standards of excellence in a dynamic market.
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (General Manager / Hotel Manager);
- Higher education in tourism, management or related fields;
- Excellent leadership, organizational and decision-making skills;
- Solid knowledge of hotel financial and operational management;
- Very good knowledge of relevant legislation;
- Orientation towards performance, results and customer satisfaction;
- English language – advanced level;
- Experience in international hotel chains is an advantage.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordination and supervision of the entire hotel activity, ensuring balance between operational, financial and commercial areas;
- Developing and implementing business strategies aimed at increasing occupancy and profitability of the location;
- Achieving and monitoring budgetary objectives and KPIs established at management level;
- Coordination and development of the sales & marketing strategy, with a focus on the growth of the commercial department;
- Effectively managing and motivating teams in all key departments: Front Office, Housekeeping and Sales;
- Monitoring and optimizing the quality of services offered to guarantee high customer satisfaction;
- Developing and strengthening long-term commercial relationships and strategic partnerships;
- Professional representation of the company in relations with authorities, business partners and corporate clients;
- Management and analysis of the budgeting process, cost control and overall financial performance;
- Ensuring and verifying compliance with internal procedures, group policies and tax or commercial legislation in force;
- Developing and implementing efficient operational procedures for rigorous control of hotel activity;
- Coordinating and evaluating the management team, directly supervising the performance of each department;
- Maintaining and promoting the hotel’s image and reputation to the highest standards of excellence.
