JOB OBJECTIVE
Responsible for all operational, administrative, statistical and billing aspects of the CoDi department
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Updating and permanently maintaining the carrier database;
- Monitoring the activity of carriers based on quantitative and qualitative performance indicators;
- Monitoring, reporting and operating in specific systems of the Distribution activity/process;
- Planning deliveries/collections on distribution trucks;
- Establishing the order/priorities of trucks for loading/unloading based on distance, delivery/customer specifics;
- Taking transport orders from internal or external customers;
- Updating statuses in case of deliveries/collections of goods;
- Coordination and control of the delivery of products to the customer, in optimal conditions in terms of quality, quantity and delivery time;
- Managing and monitoring product returns, identifying the causes of their occurrence;
- Operating/entering carrier-specific data into the electronic system (TMS – Transport Management System);
- Monitoring activity using specific tools for direct transportation cost at trip, truck, carrier, daily/weekly/monthly level;
- Managing the flow of department-specific documents (transport documents, invoices from carriers, etc.);
- Coordination of delivery/collection drivers;
- Ensuring the performance standard agreed at national level regarding the activity of distribution drivers (type of trucks used and their equipment, achievement of the objective regarding the timely delivery/collection of goods);
- Analysis, identification and implementation of corrective measures to improve the activity of the department and/or carriers;
requirement
- Professional experience: minimum 1 year in a similar position;
- Education: minimum completed secondary education;
- Experience in the field of Transportation/Distribution;
- PC operating skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, computer programs for route planning;
- English language: intermediate level;
- Ability to adapt to the personality of customers/drivers;
- Ability to work with documents and follow verbal and written instructions;
- Ethical behavior and professionalism, responsible, punctual person;
- Able to solve problems with initiative, focused and distributive attention.
