We are looking for a collaborator who knows how to run e-commerce, not just manage it.
Role purpose
- You have complete ownership of the e-commerce: Cupio.ro website, mobile applications and international expansion.
- It is not a role of “supervision”, but of strategic and operational execution.
- You are directly responsible for results: sales, margin, profit, growth.
- You have the team, the agents, and the tools — but performance depends on how you put them into motion.
Main responsibilities
1. Website & Conversion Funnel
- You completely own the commercial structure and performance of Cupio.ro (Magento).
- You work directly with the Magento agency and the Technical Project Manager for rapid implementations: layouts, optimizations, bugfixes, developments.
- You don’t write code, but you clearly translate business needs into technical briefs.
- You prioritize according to impact: conversion, margin, UX.
You are responsible for:
- merchandising (categories, navigation, filters)
- funnel (landings, PDP, checkout)
- fast execution (time-to-market without bottlenecks)
2. Performance Marketing (budget & margin)
- You plan, launch and optimize campaigns with agencies (Google, Meta, affiliate).
You answer directly from:
- Contributing Margin / order
- % expenses from margin
- CPA, LTV, POAS, Cost / First Order
- You quickly stop what doesn’t perform and aggressively scale what works.
- Create segmentations and remarketing strategies (newsletter).
3. Mobile Apps
- Increase turnover and CM in the application.
- You optimize functionalities and funnels together with the technical teams.
- You’re thinking about commercial pushes and retention.
- You are tracking: DAU, orders, app vs. web conversion.
4. International expansion
- Launch and grow sales in new markets.
- You coordinate: location, prices, campaigns, agencies, logistics, payment.
- You build a scalable playbook for each market.
Measure success by:
- sales / market
- % international income
- CM from foreign markets
5. Data, Insights, BI
- You use BI and predictive tools (Aqurate) for decisions.
- Generate weekly insights: products, margin, conversions.
- Read the action data: see the problem and solve it.
KPIs
- Contributing Margin / order
- POAS
- % of margin spend (channel / product / campaign)
- Website & app conversion
- % revenue from new markets
- Cost per first order / CAC
- Execution time (campaigns/launches)
Must-have
- You have experience in ecommerce leadership (Head / Manager / Director), with real ownership of sales, margin, funnel and team.
- You managed a medium-large online store, with direct impact on P&L or commercial contribution.
- You led teams (internal / agencies) and delivered measurable results: growth, profit, efficiency.
- You didn’t just approve campaigns — you thought them out, tested them, scaled them, and stopped them when necessary.
- Get out of your comfort zone: you make quick decisions, even with incomplete data, later validated in performance.
- You know how to extract value from agencies (Magento, performance, development).
Nice to have
- Experience in e-commerce internationalisation (new markets, go-to-market).
- Experience with AI in e-commerce (segmentation, prediction, content, automation).
- Technical background (tag manager, feeds, APIs, understanding web flows, Magento operation).
- Experience with mobile e-commerce applications (funnel, retention, conversion).
