We are looking for an experienced Electrician/Electrical Technician for the Photovoltaic Plant Operation and Maintenance department, within the Horia PV project (Arad County), Romania.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the electrical installations of the photovoltaic plant to ensure its efficient and safe operation, maximizing energy production and minimizing downtime.
Your profile:
Electrical Technician Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering;- Good knowledge of English – written and spoken;- Solid understanding of photovoltaic technology, electrical systems and mechanical components;- Ability to diagnose and effectively solve electrical and mechanical problems;- In-depth knowledge of safety rules and procedures when working with electrical equipment;- Valid ANRE certification (National Energy Regulatory Authority);- Effective communication skills with team members, supervisors and clients;- Proficiency in using computer programs for monitoring, reporting and communication;- Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes and implement effective solutions;- Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Main responsibilities:
Conduct regular visual and instrumental inspections of solar panels, inverters, transformers and other electrical components to identify potential problems;- Diagnose and repair faults in the photovoltaic system, including electrical and mechanical problems, using specialized tools and equipment;- Use monitoring software and tools to track system performance, identify anomalies and ensure optimal energy efficiency;- Perform scheduled maintenance work, such as inspecting connections and replacing worn parts to prevent future problems;- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues;- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and system performance data.
