Ideal Candidate
- Graduate of higher education: technical profile (e.g. Faculty of Electrical Engineering);
- Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in bidding, preparing estimates and optimizing work budgets (experience in the field of electrical installations is a major advantage);
- Practical experience in studying documentation for public/private tenders;
- Good knowledge of work execution technologies (mainly low and medium voltage electrical installations, as well as related civil/industrial constructions);
- Good knowledge of the electrical materials and equipment market;
- Knowledge of using a currency exchange program (knowledge of WinDev, Intersoft, E Devize is an advantage), etc.;
- Good use of computer and MS Office package (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Good organizational, communication, negotiation and teamwork skills;
- Ability to efficiently and simultaneously manage multiple offers and tight deadlines;
- Excellent economic analysis skills and attention to detail;
- Possession of an accredited course in electrical installations and estimates (an advantage).
- Category B driving license (an advantage).
Job Description
- Analyzes specifications, data sheets, plans and technical memoranda made available by contracting authorities, with particular emphasis on the electrical installation specialty;
- Checks the lists of quantities given by the designer and maintains contact with him to clarify objections or inconsistencies between the specifications and the lists;
- Prepares technical and financial proposals (complete offers) in quotation programs for tenders, including specific forms according to GD 907;
- Centralizes the quantities of electrical materials and equipment necessary for the execution of the works;
- Sends requests for quotations to suppliers, performs comparative analysis of the offers received and selects the most advantageous option from a technical and financial point of view;
- Constructs, argues and drafts technical responses to requests for clarification;
- Collaborates closely with electrical engineers and technicians on the team to correctly prepare offers and estimates;
- Prepares work reports and actively participates in the preparation of the technical book of the construction / installation.
- Preparing, verifying and updating estimates for works under tender or execution.
- Updating unit prices and cost bases used in quotes.
- Verifying the correlation between the project, estimate, quantities ordered and the work performed.

We are looking for a Production Department Estimator, an organized person, attentive to details and with good technical-economic analysis skills, who will contribute to the preparation, verification and updating of estimates, lists of quantities, material requirements and work reports for projects under tender and execution.The role is part of the production/execution area and involves permanent collaboration with the technical teams, the construction site, the procurement, tender, design and project management departments, to ensure accurate records of quantities, costs, resources and work performed.
