FOREIGN EXCHANGE ENGINEER OFFERING – SETTLEMENT – CONSTRUCTION

Ideal Candidate

• Graduate of the Faculty of Civil, Industrial and Agricultural Constructions or equivalent (higher studies, courses, certifications in the field)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bidding, estimates, work reports and settlements for public and/or private works in the construction field;
• Solid knowledge of using currency exchange software (we hold an InterSOFT license, but we also work with other specialized software);
• Familiar with the legislation in force (GD 1/2018, Law 98/2016, GEO 114/2018, etc.);
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical documentation (specifications, plans, details);
• Attention to detail, rigor and organization in managing documentation;
• Good written and verbal communication skills, necessary for the relationship with suppliers, beneficiaries and authorities;
• Ability to work in a team, but also independently;

It constitutes an advantage:

• Experience in working with SEAP/SICAP;
• Experience in settling works with public institutions;
• Category B driving license.

Job Description

• Analysis of award documentation (specifications, plans, lists of quantities);
• Preparing work estimates and technical-financial offers;
• Preparing work reports for settlement (in collaboration with field teams);
• Tracking ongoing contracts and updating estimates based on changes in execution;
• Preparing payment requests, order notes, responses to clarifications;
• Participation in the development of documentation for public tenders (SEAP/SICAP);
• Collaborating with site supervisors, designers and beneficiaries to update the value of the works;
• Archiving and organizing documents related to bidding and settlement.
