Key Responsibilities
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will:
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure a professional first impression.
- Complete check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately.
- Assign guest rooms according to hotel standards and security procedures.
- Issue room keys while maintaining guest privacy and security.
- Review daily arrival lists and accommodate special guest requests.
- Answer guest questions in person, by phone, and through other communication channels.
- Manage room reservations and update booking information accurately.
- Process guest payments and issue invoices according to hotel cashier procedures.
- Handle foreign currency exchange transactions in line with hotel policies.
- Promote hotel facilities, services, and special offers to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain effective communication with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- Pleasant and professional appearance.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including overnight shifts.
- Previous night-shift experience is considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using the OPERA Property Management System is preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English language skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
