Job Description
Role Objective
Management and development of the portfolio of power supply solutions (UPS, batteries, PDUs, backup systems), being the bridge between the vendor, the sales team and the end customers/partners, in order to maximize the market share and profitability of the range.
Main Responsibilities
1. Portfolio Management and Vendor Relationship
Vendor Interface: Maintains constant communication with vendors (opportunity reports, order forecast, periodic meetings and participation in brand events, opportunity development).Technical Expertise: Becomes the technical reference for the UPS and backup portfolio; monitors the technical specifications of its own products versus the competition (price, efficiency, technology).Training: Participates in technological update courses and continuously self-develops in the field of critical electrical infrastructure.
2. Business Development and Consultative Sales
Opportunity Identification: Proactively discovers new business projects in the private and public sector (tenders), both in the current customer base and by attracting new partners – recruitment and development of reseller partners – role of technical seller.Pre-sales Support: Manages requests for quotations, provides technical consultancy to identify backup needs and promotes appropriate solutions (from office UPSs to industrial/data center solutions).
Sales Facilitation: Actively participates in negotiations, prepares technical-commercial offers and supports and monitors the sales process until completion.
3. Analysis, Strategy and Marketing
Reporting and Forecasting: Prepares periodic analyses (turnover, sales volumes, stock forecasts) and monitors the achievement of individual targets.
Collaborative Marketing:
Proposes and implements promotional campaigns together with the Marketing department and the vendor to unload stocks or launch new technologies.
Market Knowledge:
Maintains an updated customer database and monitors competitor activity in the market. Market positioning of the brand against the competition, role as brand ambassador.
