- Demonstrated ability to negotiate transportation rates and effectively manage relationships with carriers
- Existing network of carriers or logistics partners – important advantage
- Experience in using transport exchange platforms (e.g.: Bursa Transport)
- Ability to plan and execute deliveries within short deadlines (target 24–36 hours)
- Very good organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Experience with SAP or other similar ERP systems
- Good knowledge of national routes and logistics practices
- Knowledge of Romanian; English is an advantage
Job Description
Position Description:
We are looking for a Logistics and Transport Coordinator to manage and optimize the delivery of materials from the DCP factory in Crevedia to customers across the country.
The role requires high operational discipline, advanced planning capabilities and the ability to effectively coordinate between internal teams and external transport partners. The main objective is to ensure fast, reliable and cost-effective deliveries nationwide.
Main responsibilities:
- Plans, coordinates and monitors daily transportation operations nationwide
- Ensures all orders are shipped within 24–36 hours, maintaining a high level of service
- Coordinates delivery schedules with sales and production teams to ensure operational continuity
- Collaborate with transport companies and logistics partners to identify the best transport solutions
- Actively uses the Transport Exchange to identify available capacities
- Negotiate rates and transportation conditions to achieve the best balance between speed, reliability and cost
- Optimizes delivery routes and times for fast and efficient execution
- Monitor deliveries and proactively manage any issues
- Maintains accurate records of shipping documentation and reports
- Works in SAP for order management and logistics processes
