Magazine Warehouse Manager & Operator

The Schieffer company initiates a training process for the team at the new production location in Hunedoara, Pestisul Mare no. 1D. For this purpose, the company selects & recruits within the Logistics Department: Warehouse Manager/Warehouse Operator.

Job description:

• receives the materials supplied to the factory, checks the quantities indicated in the accompanying documents of the goods and controls their quality as much as possible;
• checks and loads the goods into management regarding assortment, quality, quantity, packaging, marking;
• is responsible for storing goods and raw materials in good conditions to avoid their degradation, while also respecting occupational health and safety standards and the PSI;
• checks and releases finished products from management for delivery to the client and prepares transport documents;
• releases raw materials from the warehouse and ensures their supply to production according to requirements;
• periodically checks the stock status of certain materials and whether there are goods that are not moving;
• deducts from management and prepares consumption receipts for indirect materials according to consumption;
• is responsible for unloading/loading trucks according to the documents provided by the drivers;
• ensures the integrity of all materials, small mechanization equipment – forklift, pallet truck – as well as the specific tools necessary to carry out the warehouse activity;
• solving problems left over from the exchange;
• They will ensure that order and cleanliness are maintained in the warehouse area, in the truck loading/unloading area and in the packaging storage area.

Requirements:

• minimum high school / vocational school;
• experience as a warehouse worker, manager or forklift operator, and who has carried out the main activity in a warehouse for at least 2 years;
• forklift operator certificate;
• computer operating knowledge;
• knowledge of English at an intermediate level;
• willingness to assimilate new knowledge specific to the activity in a warehouse;
• permanent residence in Hunedoara.
