- Choosing new equipment based on production requirements, selecting and analytically comparing options to propose the most optimal solution.
- Using a CAD program to analyze existing devices and improve them.
- Determining requirements for new devices according to customer or project specifications.
- Coordination of the installation of new equipment
- Creating go/no-go devices and templates, etc.
- Performing quality tests for new equipment.
- Negotiating with suppliers and external companies to secure the best deals for equipment and services
- Scheduling meetings with management and staff as needed
Professional skills
- Higher education (engineering)
- Ability to work semi-independently and in a team
- Knowledge of CAD software, AutoCAD is an advantage
