We are currently looking for a team-oriented and proactive Mechanical Design Engineer for the Bucharest team, within the Rominserv company .
Your new role
Carrying out specific design activities in the field of technological (static) equipment, pressure and atmospheric equipment, specific to the Oil and Gas industry, in order to carry out projects for industrial objectives.
Activities that will help you shine:
- Preparing technical design documentation at various phases (study, basic engineering, detail engineering) and coordinating the activity of preparing design documentation by subcontractors for the development and implementation of projects;
- Providing specialized technical assistance in achieving the designed industrial objectives to ensure quality standards;
- Elaborating execution details for equipment projects (including repairs) for execution (at the vendor or on site);
- Preparing technical design documentation with mechanical specificity for the objectives designated as service tasks;
- Carrying out technical analyses, case analyses, proposals for technical solutions for the development of investment projects;
- Participating in the verification/approval of technical documentation to comply with established requirements, existing regulations, standards and norms;
- Elaborating/Analyzing (as appropriate) under specific aspects, the content and specifications of design themes/documentation (including those developed by subcontractors);
- Ensuring the conformity of own and collaborators’ works.
The fuel needed to move forward with us:
- Higher technical education
- Minimum 12 years of experience in design activity (mechanical profile) for machinery, pressure vessels (ISCIR, PED), installations in the chemical and petrochemical industry and minimum 8 years in a similar position;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D);
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of static equipment design (Oil & Gas);
- In-depth knowledge of ISCIR technical prescriptions-design of machinery and pressure equipment, ASME I, ASME II, ASME VIII codes, SR EN 13445, SR EN 13480, etc.
- PC operation (M/S Word, Excel, Outlook);
- English language (including specialized terms) – advanced level.
