Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer CAM Designer will be responsible for:

  • Creating complex NC programs for high-precision tooling.
  • Designing electrodes for complex manufacturing processes.
  • Developing advanced 5-axis milling programs for 3D tool components.
  • Applying optimized machining strategies to improve production efficiency.
  • Participating in manufacturing process discussions and defining machining methods.
  • Developing practical and manufacturable tool design solutions.
  • Preparing manufacturing designs for electrode production.
  • Supporting all major manufacturing processes, including:
    • Roughing and finishing milling operations.
    • EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) processes.
    • Grinding, heat treatment, and surface coatings.
  • Selecting cutting tools and machining parameters.
  • Defining electrode wear allowances and erosion compensation.
  • Working closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing quality.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent vocational qualifications.
  • 2–3 years of relevant engineering experience after graduation.
  • 7–10 years of practical experience assembling injection molding tools.
  • Strong knowledge of injection mold tooling and tool design.
  • Solid experience using CATIA V5.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Process-oriented thinking.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Technical Skills

Successful candidates should be familiar with:

  • CAM programming.
  • 5-axis CNC machining.
  • NC program development.
  • Electrode design.
  • Injection molding processes.
  • EDM machining techniques.
  • Heat treatment and coating processes.
  • Precision manufacturing methods.
