Photovoltaic Power Plant Project Manager
Our company is looking for a dedicated and passionate Photovoltaic Power Plant Project Manager, with experience in the field of renewable energy and photovoltaic projects. If you are a proactive, results-oriented person and want to be part of a dynamic team, this position could be right for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Initiation
- Develops the project plan (WBS, Gantt, milestones, budget) under the economic and technical conditions stipulated in the contract;
- Coordinates technical and economic feasibility studies and due diligence processes ;
- Manages the permitting process : permits, building permits, grid connection (ATR, NTE);
- Plan the need for materials, human resources and services.
2. Execution and Monitoring
- Coordinates EPC contractors, equipment suppliers and site managers;
- Monitors costs, physical progress and risks; ensures compliance with the forecasted budget;
- Identify deviations from the project and implement corrective measures immediately;
- Organizes site meetings and ensures compliance with HSE (health and safety) requirements.
3. Completion and Stakeholder Relations
- Coordinates commissioning tests (FAT/SAT/Commissioning) and final acceptance;
- Manages the process of connecting to the SEN and obtaining connection certificates;
- Ensures the settlement of works, collection of money and recovery of the performance guarantee;
- Transfer the project to the O&M team and ensure as-built documentation ;
- Acts as the main point of contact for clients, investors and local authorities.
Requirements:
- Education: Higher education in Electrical, Energy or Electromechanical Engineering;
- Certifications: * ANRE electrician certificate IIA & IIB (IIIA & IIIB is an advantage);
- PMP or PRINCE2 certifications – an advantage;
- Professional experience:
- Minimum 5 years in the design, execution or maintenance of photovoltaic power plants;
- Minimum 3 years of specific experience in renewable energy project management;
- Demonstrated experience in managing high value projects;
- Technical Knowledge & Software:
- Solid knowledge of photovoltaic system technology (panels, inverters, storage systems);
- Advanced use of MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar planning tools;
- Ability to interpret technical documentation: single-line diagrams , site plans;
- Legislative knowledge: ANRE procedures, Transelectrica, IEC/EN norms;
- Personal skills:
- Strong leadership: ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams;
- Capacity for analysis, synthesis and efficient management of priorities;
- Resistance to working under pressure and meeting deadlines;
- Advanced English language;
- Category B driving license and availability for travel.
