We are looking for an organized, responsible and involved person to coordinate the daily activity in the production section – hygienic and sanitary products and packaging (toilet paper, towel rolls, folded napkins, stretch film, household bags, etc.). The production coordinator will ensure the smooth running of processes, compliance with the production plan, product quality and good collaboration between the team of operators, logistics, procurement and company management. Reports directly to the company administrators.
Main responsibilities
- • Plans and organizes daily and weekly production based on orders, stocks and production capacity.
- • Coordinates and supervises the team of operators and packers, by distributing tasks and monitoring compliance with work procedures.
- • Checks the quality of finished products and monitors the operation of production lines for paper and plastic products.
- • Follows specific production processes: unwinding, embossing, perforating, cutting, packaging and labeling, as well as processes related to the production of stretch film and household bags.
- • Manages raw materials, packaging and finished products – records, consumption and losses.
- • Collaborates with the logistics, warehouse and purchasing departments for efficient production planning.
- • Monitors the proper functioning of equipment and monitors the remediation of defects; maintains order, cleanliness and discipline in the department.
- • Prepares production reports, monitors performance indicators and proposes improvements to workflows.
Requirements and necessary skills
- • Previous experience in coordinating a production team, preferably in the field of hygiene and sanitary products, packaging, paper or plastics.
- • Basic knowledge of production processes for paper and/or plastics products.
- • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- • Attention to detail and quality orientation.
- • Ability to make quick and practical decisions in unforeseen situations.
- • Communication and teamwork skills.
- • Basic management knowledge (consumption, stocks, reporting).
- • PC operation (Excel, Word); experience with a production software or ERP is an advantage.
- • Integrity, seriousness and a practical attitude.
