Sales / quotation engineer – electrical materials
Role Description
We are looking for a Sales / Bidding Engineer with a technical and commercial profile, who will combine technical bidding with field sales activity, having an active role in market prospecting, identifying target customers and generating commercial opportunities.
Main responsibilities
- Analysis of requests for proposals and preparation of technical and commercial offers
- Identification of optimal technical solutions and cost-effective alternatives
- Market prospecting and identification of target customers (installers, contractors, EPC, industry)
- Generating and developing commercial opportunities
- Field sales activity: customer visits, construction sites, commercial meetings
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Technical and commercial support for customers and internal sales team
- Collaboration with suppliers for prices, deadlines and technical clarifications
- Following up on offers and actively involved in closing sales
Requirements
- Higher technical studies (Electrical Engineering / Energy / Electrotechnics)
- Sales, negotiation and business development skills
Availability for field work
- Experience in technical sales, bidding or business development is an advantage
- Knowledge of electrical materials and installations
- Good communication, organizational and results-oriented skills
- PC operation (Excel; ERP/CRM – advantage)
