Job Description: Senior Design Engineer
Responsibilities
- Coordination of design teams (collaborators/subcontractors) to achieve the proposed objectives;
- Provide support to the production department in order to carry out project reviews whenever this need is identified;
- Checks and owns the technical documentation for the project in which he is involved
- Collaborates with the quality department to carry out execution procedures
- Reviews and updates technical projects
- Prepares the plans and reports necessary for project execution
- Interprets laboratory tests from a geotechnical point of view and prepares the related documentation
- Organizes documentation control in the technical office
- Monitors projects during and after construction to ensure compliance with design specifications
Requirements
- Proactive, diplomatic person, with good communication skills and resistance to stress
- Completed higher education in the field of railway, road and bridge engineering/civil and industrial construction engineering;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position (please mention which construction projects you were previously involved in);
- Previous experience in the field of railway, road and bridge construction is an advantage.
- Knowledge of construction norms, standards and legislation;
- Knowledge of legislation and technical regulations in the field;
- Good knowledge of PC operation (Word, Excel, Internet, etc.), AUTOCAD, STRUCTURAL DESIGN PROGRAMMING;
- Ability to work with deadlines.
- English language – intermediate level;
- Driving license category B
