ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of our client, an asset management, development and acquisition advisory firm in the Renewable Energy sector, is seeking to recruit a Senior Project Development Engineer to develop renewable energy projects (Solar/Wind) from Green Field to Ready to Build phase. This role reports to the CEO and the Country Manager.
Senior Project Development Engineer – Romania (6117/SPDE/ESS/RO)
Key Responsibilities
- Development of relationships and trusted partnerships with local authorities and administrations (ANRE, Municipalities, Forest Agencies, Communities of Municipalities, other related authorities), landowners.
- Reporting to the office manager about progress and any necessary modifications of operation and timelines that are indicated
- Reporting to the management and shareholders upon request of the office manager
- Provide accurate forecasts and timelines of the requested projects
- Generate and issue regular internal and external activity reports and timeline
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- MSc related to sustainable energy technologies and/or project management will be considered as an asset
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- In-depth knowledge of Romanian Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes
- Good knowledge of PV modules, inverters, SCADA, PV Syst, etc
- Extensive knowledge of renewable energy, instrumentation control systems and in-depth knowledge of solar power generation system, and procedures
- Knowledge of power engineering and energy efficiency fields;
- Experience in reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD , MS Project, PV Syst
- Excellent use of the English language both spoken and written
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Proactive, detail oriented, multi-tasking;
- Ability to work as part of a multicultural team and contribute to the development of a fast-growing company carrying innovative and ambitious projects in the sustainable development sector
- Availability to travel within Romania and abroad
