Job Description

JOB OBJECTIVES:

Assembles, installs, maintains and operates various metal structures and equipment specific to grain warehouses (loaders, belt, chain or bucket conveyor systems), drying, cleaning, aeration, monitoring installations and performs any other duties at the request of the superior hierarchical manager.

OTHER OBJECTIVES:-

• Proper management and use of fixed assets and inventory items.
• – To perform the operations assigned by the team leader or the head of the work point, respecting all indications and measures, so that the result of the respective operation corresponds to the requested requirements.
• – Performs any other work task assigned by the management team, which is related to the content of the job
• – Assembles, installs and maintains various metal structures and equipment, according to the duties assigned to him/her;
• – Checks and supervises the proper functioning of the mechanical equipment located within the work point where he/she carries out his/her activity;
• – Executes temporary or definitive metal constructions;
• – Assembles the necessary metal structures;
• – Strictly complies with the tasks and instructions received from the direct superior regarding the technological process and the materials used (proportions, quantities, quality);
• – Strictly complies with the specifications and instructions included in the execution projects;
• – Executes painting works as appropriate;
• – Prepares the necessary documentation for activities in his field of activity.
• – Executes any other provisions given by the hierarchical superior in the implementation of the company’s short-term strategies within the limits of compliance with the legal basis.
• – Checking the goods (visual inspection), notifying the laboratory when there are suspicions about the quality of the goods unloading into the reception bunker;
• – Throughout the entire period that the silo is under construction, he will be on site daily and will participate in all site commands, meetings, etc.
• – He will immediately notify the hierarchical superior when he finds unjustified interruptions of the builder’s activity, deviations from the project, the use of unauthorized labor, non-compliance with labor protection regulations- He will position and operate the equipment necessary for direct transshipment of cereals by ship or rail, during and after the completion of construction works
• A. Regarding interpersonal relationships / communication- He is responsible for maintaining a favorable climate for the performance of job duties in the section in which he works.- He is responsible for the correctness of the information provided to all departments in the company.- Has a polite attitude towards both colleagues and external persons with whom he comes into contact within the company.B. Regarding the equipment provided- Is responsible for complying with internal procedures related to the use of the equipment provided.- Is responsible for complying with the norms and instructions for the use of fixed assets and inventory items provided.- Is responsible for immediately informing the responsible persons regarding any malfunction of the equipment with which he carries out his activity.- To take measures for the appropriate storage of materials, semi-finished products both at the work point and during transport.- To take measures to remedy the deficiencies found by all those who carry out checks (beneficiary, company management, quality inspection, labor protection, etc.) in accordance with the provisions of the head of the work point.- Is responsible for the quality of the execution of the works in accordance with the technical procedures, system procedures and work instructions, provided for in the quality manual.- To properly manage the materials and tools received.C. In relation to the objectives of the position- Is responsible for reviewing the procedures / work instructions whenever necessary.- Is responsible for respecting the deadlines for handing over the situations to the superior hierarchical boss.- Is responsible for respecting the legal provisions regarding quality assurance standards.- Understands and respects the occupational health and safety regulations and their application measures, as well as the PSI regulations;- Is responsible for the confidentiality of the data to which he has access;- Demonstrates ethical behavior- Respects the Internal Regulations, the corporation’s procedures and the provisions of the Collective Labor Agreement applicable at the company level.REGARDING OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY:- Respects the occupational health and safety regulations and PSI;- To cooperate with the employer or the designated worker for as long as necessary, to make possible the implementation of any measure or requirement ordered by the Labor Inspectorate, the sanitary inspectors for the protection of the health and safety of workers;- To cooperate with the employer or the designated worker for as long as necessary to allow the employer to ensure that the working environment and working conditions are safe and without risks to safety and health in his field of activity.- To acquire and comply with the provisions of the legislation in the field of safety and health at work and their enforcement measures;- To provide reports requested by labor inspectors and sanitary inspectors;- To use machines, equipment and other means of production and individual means correctly;- To immediately communicate to the employer any work situation that he has good reason to consider a danger, as well as any deficiency in the protection system.
