About the Role
As a Warehouse Manager, you will become an important member of the Global Supply Chain team and help build efficient warehouse operations at Quantum Systems’ Romanian production site.
The company is expanding its presence in Romania and plans to significantly increase its local workforce over the coming years. The Brasov facility is expected to become an important manufacturing and operational hub within the company’s European production network.
Your work will involve close cooperation with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality teams. Your main objective will be to make sure materials are received, stored, controlled, and delivered efficiently to support production schedules.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material handling, inventory control, and shipping.
- Establishing efficient warehouse procedures as the business grows.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through stock audits, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
- Improving warehouse layouts and storage solutions.
- Optimizing material flow to improve efficiency and workplace safety.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Ensuring materials are available on time for production.
- Working with Procurement, Material Planning, and Manufacturing teams.
- Monitoring warehouse KPIs and taking corrective action when required.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Managing and developing warehouse employees.
- Building a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Supporting warehouse digitalization and process improvement.
- Using ERP, WMS, and inventory management systems.

Qualification
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
Candidates should have several years of practical experience in warehouse management, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
Experience managing warehouse teams in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, electronics, aerospace, defense, or another technically demanding environment will be valuable.
