PROHUMAN is looking for a responsible, organized and detail-oriented Construction Bidding Engineer to join our technical team.
The role involves preparing technical and economic offers for construction projects, analyzing received documentation, and working closely with internal execution, design, and procurement teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing technical documentation (specifications, drawings, lists of quantities, DTAC + PTh projects);
- Preparation of technical and economic offers (estimates, preliminary measurements, lists of quantities);
- Requesting price quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and comparing them;
- Calculation of direct and indirect costs for construction works;
- Preparing the documentation necessary to participate in public or private tenders;
- Collaborating with internal departments for technical and budgetary clarifications;
- Verification of the technical and financial feasibility of the projects offered;
- Technical support during the negotiation and contracting stage.
Requirements:
- Higher technical education in the field of construction (advantage);
- Relevant experience in a bidding role (minimum 2–3 years – preferably in civil/industrial construction);
- Knowledge of public procurement legislation (SEAP/SICAP);
- Experience in evaluating infrastructure or industrial works;
- Experience in design or execution – for understanding the technical flow;
- Solid knowledge of construction norms and standards;
- Experience in using currency exchange programs;
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and organization;
- Ability to work with deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously;
- MS Office knowledge (advanced Excel is an advantage).
